TOG's, WB's, Qik? What does it all mean?
I hope things are going well for you. Things here in Houston are pretty cool. I mean literally it is cool. The weather has been great. So, don't be too misinformed Houston isn't a scorcher all the time. I really like this time of the year here in H-town. But all the is peripheral to what I want I to let you know about.
Ok, I've got a new phone awhile ago so that I could do some neat new stuff on it for you. So, if you check out Qik.com/tqmusic. You can see my first attempts. Be gracious they are my first attempts. Be on the look out for "TOGs" (Thoughts on the Go). The first TOG is about seeking the Kingdom of God. Check it out here. Also, I am planning on having some "WB's" - Worship Breaks coming soon. A "WB" is just a quick worship time in the middle of the day to get your mind off of the mundane and onto the extraordinary. Check out Qik.com/tqmusic in the next day or so for the first WB.
Music Video update: All the shooting for the "Finally Headed Home" music video is finished. " And there was great rejoicing, yeah!" So, all that is left is the editing. My buddies Doug and Jonathan @oceanswallsmedia have been doing stellar work on this video and are shooting several other videos as well. Follow them on Twitter and check them out on the web at http://oceanwallsmedia.com. We hope to have this ready for viewing very soon.

Inspire the Desire
'Inspire the Desire' is a Christian talent search showcase. Inspire the desire will be aired on the ION television network and other local networks. Over $10,000 dollars in prizes will be given to the winners of the showcase, with the grand prize being a trip on the Spirit Cruise, a Christian cruise with Christian based entertainment acts.

Food for the Hungry
I just entered a contest with called the 104.7 The Fish "Opening Act" where I have a chance at being the opening act at Celebrate Freedom in Atlanta. I made a a video of a new song called 'Food for the Hungry' (see description below).

I know this is the middle to the summer but I am it is time to begin thinking about booking shows for the fall. I am hoping to shot a music video with the help of some wonderful friends of mine named Doug and Jonathan for the song "Finally Headed Home". We are in the preliminary stages of this but we are hoping to begin filming in August. I will be putting up pics and post about it as we get more into it. To say that I am excited is a huge under statement.
A Question of risk.
I recently watched the movie "Surrogates" starring Bruce Willis and it brought up several questions in my mind. One of those questions was "If there was no risk in my life, would that be a life worth living?" In other words, if I couldn't get hurt would that be a life worth iving? Before you answer, that think of this. Whenever you decide to love someone you take a risk. The risk is that the person you choose to love may choose to not love you back and in turn break your heart. So again I ask, "If there was no risk in your life, would that be a life worth living?" Just some food for thought. Post comments to let me know what you think.

Food for the Hungry implements transformational development programs in impoverished communities around the world.
